Essential oils: How essential oils work?

Essential oils enter the body in two main ways. The most common fall through the nose and our sense of smell odors identifies and sends messages to the brain through the olfactory glands. Here begins the therapeutic process. The effects such as relaxation or a soft drink, to stimulate memory or a feeling of relief or welfare, may differ from one person to another. The adulteration of oils is becoming more widespread. Remember that most essential oils come from agricultural areas, many third world countries. The vast majority of oils are purchased for the perfume industry and purchased only a small percentage for aromatherapy. In aromatherapy the physical constitution of the oil is very important and must be absolutely faithful to nature. The perfume industry did not require this, since they are most intended to achieve the perfect scent.
