Clay Pot cookware is an old Chinese classic, but has passed from generation to generation. The material and technology has improved slightly and techniques Basic cooking utensils are not changed and the charm of this clay pot remains the same. To try and even become part of the authentic Chinese cuisine, is a clay pot necessary title = "kitchen"> cooking utensils should take home.

In clay pot cooking, poultry or meat combined with a little liquid, vegetables and seasonings to produce the tenderness of simmering with the goal of grilling. Most cooking is done with the lid in place, but when food is nearly finished, the deck can go out and get a gold finish. Bread baked in a clay pot produces a crisp crust with a tender, moist interior. Some bakers clay are similar to metal or glass loaf pan, but others come with a lid.

Clay pots great for slow cooked meals. Because wet clay does not go as hot as the metal, the pot helps keep your cook over low heat until simmering in low, which makes the texture of the finest food in the final. Moreover, heavy clay retains heat very well, and you may find yourself turning the heat down in order to keep the contents of kitchen as slowly as you like.

Because clay is porous, you should avoid using soap to clean their clay pots. This also allows them to be experienced through repeated use, and some people claim that food cooked in an old and well seasoned earthenware dish tastes noticeably better than food cooked in a new craft. None of my clay pots are actually quite old for me to test this proposal yet, but I'll be sure to give an update in a few years.

Dried Calendula Flowers

by S. Heilemann from Bartlett, IL on 2010-03-06
I used the dried flowers in my handmade, hot process soap. I first ground some of the whole flowers into powder to add to the soap as a mild exfoliant. Then, I separated the petals from some flowers before adding to my soap. The soap turned out very well.

Calendula - a tasty medicinal

by Linda Hedt from Seattle, WA. USA on 2008-02-25
Calendula tea was recommended by my naturepath for inflammation, and your product is the highest quality I've come across in the three years I've been drinking it. It's a very tasty tea that besides being anti-inflammatory, also has antiviral, and antibacterial effects, and is high in antioxidants. The bonus is that your product is also best price I've seen! Thank you.
