soap making question ... How do I add essential oils to the recipe for soap?

the recipe calls 4 teaspoon vanilla fragrance oil ... I could not find any, but I have vanilla essential oil in place can add a carrier oil? and if so what and how many drops? and will affect saponification, thus changing?

Essential oils should only include 1-3 percent of your recipe / formula. Also most essential oils will cause the soap to trace very quickly, so that the molds must be prepared and to be sure, add oil and the last in a light trace. In addition, vanilla soap will make your coffee unless you add a stabilizer for soap.

You need to only leave enough room for a layer of oil. You can also put something in the water, decorative items in the glass first, and you can color the water as desired (some packets of coloring are included). Pour a layer of oil on the water. Use any vegetable oil (not scented or olive oil). The oil will float on top (so it will not mix with the water).
