Making homemade soap and you enjoy viewing the fascinating transformation of fats and oils for luxury soaps. It's an amazing process. The basic ingredients of all soap include water, fats and lye. The combination of these three materials in the proportions correct results in a product that is unlike any of the ingredients. Here are some tips on choosing fat.

You can make soap using almost any type of fat. That includes most of the oils as well. No peanut oil, mink oil will work. The difficult part of designing the recipes that soap is soap made from fat has different characteristics different. Furthermore, not all oils cost the same either.

Central to most soap recipes is one type of oil. Is coconut oil. Palm oil is almost identical too. Why coconut oil? Especially in the foam. See, nothing else really makes the soap which foams as coconut oil. Not that the other oils soap foams. I just do not produce another oil soap bubbles and foam like coconut. At least not as such an affordable price.

Coconut oil is the perfect soap oil however. Here's why ... Coconut oil soap cleans so well that it strips the oil from the skin and resulting in a drying sensation. It is a great cleanser, but poor as a moisturizer soap oil. That's where other oils work better.

For example, the crema like stars moisturizing oil olive oil soap. Has the property of attracting moisture to the skin so it's a great moisturizer. Now the olive oil soap makes large as the base oil alone. That is what soap is Castile classic ... all olive oil soap. But pure olive oil soap foam makes only a small bubbles with small fine. Soap is a luxury, but called a little help from coconut oil.

Then there are the other heavily used cooking oil, which often constitute a large part of the soaps.

Main ingredient in many commercial soaps are tallow or beef fat. That may sound a little disgusting, but remember fats mostly turn soap. So even if a soap is made with tallow, there is little or no real fat left in the finished soap. Now is soap. And what of tallow as an ingredient in soap?

This makes the soap really white. It is very hard, long lasting soap. It bubbles for some, but not much. Clean well too, but not like coconut. It's moisturizing, but not olive oil. It is also cheap. In short, it combines well with coconut and oil to make soap ideal.

Often, palm oil, palm oil, not the kernel, is used as vegetable tallow equivalent. Does much that the fat no, but at a higher cost, but without the negative stigma of animal fats.

The combination of coconut oil, palm oil and soap does almost ideal. These three fats are essential for making homemade soap of the highest quality.

But what about shea butter? What happens with hemp seed oil? What oil well on cherry or apricot kernel oil or Emu oil or whatever?

Everyone types of exotic oils can contribute to handmade soap ideal. However, the basic use of only three oils and soap you can build more than reasonable cost. Only the use of high-priced, exotic oils to modify an already exceptional soap. Oils high price does not correct a faulty design in the homemade soap.

Making homemade soap using only a few basic ingredients and you can actually superior soap. Exotic ingredients are not a substitute for a well thought out combination of simple ingredients like soap base oils.
