Firming Body Wash Or Natural Body Firming Cream—Which Is The Right Choice?

Firming body wash is a relatively new idea in cleansing.  A natural body firming cream is probably a better choice.  Here's why.

First of all, if there were any truly effective ingredients in firming body wash, they would simply be rinsed off.  Knowing this, manufacturers are not likely to include effective ingredients, because they are more expensive.  If you notice any effect, it will be a feeling of tightness, due to alcohol or urea content.  That's not a lasting effect and it could lead to premature aging.

A natural body firming cream can increase the skin's firmness by over 40% in less than three weeks, if it contains the right ingredients.  But, again, effective ingredients are expensive.  In order to make a lotion affordable, a company would need to refrain from television ad campaigns and other marketing tools, which means that most people wouldn't know about it.

Consumers need to learn to protect themselves from misleading advertising and labeling.  Just because a product claims to be a natural body firming cream does not, necessarily mean that it contains no synthetic ingredients.  For example, the products that are marketed as natural Botox alternatives actually contain a synthetic compound that resembles a naturally occurring protein.

There are those that say synthetics are just as good as their naturally occurring counterparts.  That's one opinion.  Here's another.  We may be quite technologically advanced, but we cannot synthetically duplicate the atom or the quarks, which are even smaller than atoms.  We can only produce a molecule that looks like a naturally occurring one under the microscope.

That brings me back to firming body wash.  If it contains ethylene oxide or is manufactured using that chemical, it is likely to contain Dioxane, a cancer-causing compound.  Independent laboratories recently tested some of the cleansers on the market and found that many of them contained high levels of Dioxane.  You would be better off using something like tea tree oil, manuka honey or colloidal oatmeal for cleansing.  They would actually be good for your skin's health.

The best natural body firming cream on the market contains manuka honey because of the special enzymes that are found in it.  Those enzymes have antioxidant and antibacterial activity.  This supports the function of your immune system and helps to restore and rejuvenate the skin's appearance. 

The company that makes it does not make a firming body wash.  There are many good cleansers on the market.  But, there are not many effective anti-aging creams, which is what the company set out to make. 

The primary ingredient in their natural body firming cream is Functional Keratin.  It consists of a protein complex extracted from sheep's wool.  It is a protein that has been proven to stimulate tissue regeneration.  Other companies have tried to provide this protein, but every process that they used rendered the protein inactive.

In clinical trials, creams containing Functional Keratin have been shown to increase the skin's firmness by over 40%.  So that's the ingredient to look for instead of looking for firming body wash.
