It's that TIME of LIFE! UGH! But, I make sugar-free Jello pops in my Pop molds almost every day...it's the only thing that cools me off! These are terrific! I actually bought 2! (Don't forget -- run it under hot water to remove the outer mold.)

Great pop molds!

I've had these pop molds for only a week now, but I'm already very pleased with them and am planning to buy another set. I've made pudding pops with instant pudding and fruit pops with concentrated fruit juices. The pop size is very generous, the pops unmold easily and the components are sturdy and easy to clean. I just fill the pop mold with hot water after unmolding the pop and it's clean and ready to be reused in short order.As others have mentioned, they are generously sized, but you can always make the pop smaller by filling them about halfway. The holes on the plastic stick which allows the pop to be "anchored" onto the plastic are placed quite low on the stick. So you can get away with making a smaller pop. I like being able to choose large or small pops depending on the fill size.

These are very sturdy and easy to use popsicle molds. Please note that these make adult-sized popsicles--those looking to make pops for kids should look at a different set. I've been using these for about a month and they are relatively easy to fill, freeze and clean. I recommend running cold water over the mold when you are ready to remove the pop--squeezing the sides and wiggling the stick back and forth (carefully!) also helps loosen it up. Also, rinse the mold out right away, otherwise you'll have trouble removing residue from the grooves inside. Overall, an outstanding product that I expect to be using for years to come!

large mold

I made traditional cream cheese rose and leaves with this mold. they were much larger than traditional size, but they were easy to work with, easy to fill and unmold. Just give yourself a few extra days to dry as they are so much larger than traditional rose sugar molds. They also make a great butter mold, ice cube mold and chocolate molds too!

These butter molds work perfectly and produce beautiful roses and leaves. Clean-up is easy too because the molds are dishwasher safe. I used the molds before Thanksgiving dinner and my guests were impressed. Most of them actually believed that I purchased the butter as roses and leaves. I received one rose mold and one leaf mold just as pictured. I will definitely use these molds at all future dinner parties.

Just Flowers, No Leaves

These molds work as advertised and the molded butter pats I made came out very nice. Since they are made of silicone the molded butter was easy to pop out with no loss of detail and the molds cleaned up in the dishwasher (I used the top shelf) with no problem. However, they are supposed to be a two piece set consisting of one rose mold and one leaf mold. They are not. They are prepackaged as 2 rose molds, not a leaf in sight. Someone got the item description wrong. Bit of a bummer since I wanted to use the leaf molds for Thanksgiving dinner.

Very nice rose.After dinner mint looks nice with green leaf. Oh so pretty for a wedding reception. A special gift for the bride. Recipe is simple 2 oz cream cheese at room temp. mixed with 2 cups of powdered sugar,1/4 tsp of peppermint flavor and any color food coloring. Mash cream cheese with flavor and color then add sugar until dough like,then roll in hand small - marble size, gently roll in reg. sugar and press into mold. Turn over into wax paper to dry. makes 50.

Too shallow

I intended to use this to mold filled chocolate, but it's not deep enough. The end result is definitely a bite size chocolate, most appropriately a kid's bite size.

Small flowers!

Flowers are a lot smaller than I thought they would be but that is not the sellers fault. Just seem super small to make things with. Don't have it with me at the moment but I would guess they are half an inch maybe and fairly shallow, too.

I gave it only 4 stars but doesn't mean it's an inferior product.I'm very satisfied though.I didn't have time to test it on other kinds of rice ( I just used regular cold rice when I warmed the shapes in the microwave it fell apart ). Sushi rice or "sticky rice" might work better.I like hot rice.If the sushi rice shapes can withstand the heat and still hold its integrity then it's a 5 stars ( which I'm hoping it will happen ).It isn't the mold's fault.It did its job very well in shaping it.I'll try on sushi rice very soon.If it doesn't work,cold sushi rice heart shapes will warm my heart too :)

It's easy to put in the rice and push it out through the other end, you just have to oil it a little before using. It's easy to clean, too. I recommend using this item to make cute and quick bentos.

This does work. Use warm rice. Have a small bowl of cold water handy to coat your hands to keep it from sticking. I also immersed the mold before filling. Little fingers get stuck in the hole to push mold out easily, so watch for that. Really cram the rice in there to get a good shape. May take some practice, but worth the happy child.

Recipes??

It would have been nice to get more recipes with the pan or, at least, a conversion chart to modify cookie and cake recipes. That being said, it is a nice pan, not too thin. It arrived in perfect condition. It does come with some popsicle sticks so you don't have to buy them right away unless you plan on baking dozens of pops the first time.

First I'd like to note that the pan I got came with a small package of popsicle sticks so you might want to hold off on buying them separately. Unless they've changed the packaging, it's not necessary.We've made these several times and I agree that it works best with brownies or a more dense cake otherwise the sticks tend to pop out.

trouble on a stick

I just tried my first recipe with this new pan and I was soooo disappointed. I used a butter cake mix and the weight of the icing made it too heavy for the stick and the cake sank to the bottom of the stick. I tried sticking the cake-sicles in a piece of foam for a cute presentation and the sticks came through the cake. I'm not ready to give up yet, I just won't try cake again. The Rice Krispies Treats look good though, but I could have shaped them without the pan. Maybe I should have used a denser kind of cake mix.
