What  is meant by soap? Why it is used?

In chemistry, soap is a salt of a acid. Soapis mainly used for washing and cleaning, but soaps are also important components of lubricants. Natural handmade soaps are quite addictive after you begin to use them. They have a wonderful lather that leaves your skin so much healthier than the 'soaps' you buy at your grocery store.

The reason a natural soap is better for us is because it contains oil and glycerine. Those are the main ingredient that gets left out of the commercial variety. Those types of bathing bars are really detergents – not soap. Just look at the labels a little closer and you'll see what I mean. There's really no soap in grocery store 'soap'.
