Does anyone know an easy way to make your own soap?

The time it takes to make your own soaps, bath salts and cleaning products at home may seem like a lot of work when the store is just down the street - or in my case, just 20 minutes. So why take the time to do it ourselves?
In fact, there are eight great reasons you should do these wonderful, all natural products from scratch:
1. The cost
When you purchase a product from the store, not only payment of the ingredients, you also pay for the labeling, advertising, and postage. Do it yourself, and you have a better quality product at a fraction the cost.
2. It's safer and healthier
When manufacturers make cleaning products that are making the elements should be able to sit on your supermarket shelves for months, sometimes years. Think a lot of preservatives and chemicals, many of which are toxic. The products are mixed in the house are made from natural ingredients, usually items such as pure soap, vinegar and salt fumes are not harmful or pose a risk to their children.
3. Better for the environment
Using all natural ingredients in cleaning house, sales bath and shower gels: less toxic chemicals down the drain and eventually end up in our water system.
4. Increased security
There is always the possibility of a potential disaster, whether physical or economic. A time will come when you can not access the store grocery nearby. Knowing how to get clean in a pinch is useful knowledge that gives a sense of security.
5. It make great gifts
The quality of Deliciously scented, handmade soaps and bath salts are generally much better than what you can find in the store, and they are excellent gifts. Think big savings when Christmas time rolls. Better yet, you can make your soaps, bath salts and shower gel months before the holidays and be prepared. No standing in lines at the mall in December!

Make your bathroom products a wonderful aroma and then take on the road - for county fairs and farmers markets. Better yet, sell them online. It's a fun way to earn an income part time.
7. Teaching Opportunities
You probably will not want to make lye soap with their children, but could certainly melt and pour glycerin soap and bath salt mixture with your children. They will have a blast, and you can throw in a lesson about chemistry.
8. Tremendous satisfaction
Making things yourself is a great way to get back to basics. It is tremendously satisfying to know that you do not have to run to the store and you can make a fabulous product you're proud.
