How I can get my new white vans in the washer?

ANSWER BEFORE NOT TELL ME TO PUT CHLORINE IN THEM. It will turn yellow. I repeat, will become yellow. Okay so now I know that chlorine trucks NO help white at all, I recently bought new white vans - but the other day I accidentally crossed a little mud and dirt everywhere left shoes. I tested with soap and a toothbrush, but that does not help as much as I expected. What I can do to return my shoes back to the original poor white?

maybe if u put in a bucket full of water + detergent for washing clothes and rubbed it on the shoes, it might work
