Nuts soap are the fruit of Sapindus mukorossi trees. These trees grow in south eastern India, China, Indonesia and Nepal. Sapindus has about five to twelve species of shrubs and small trees that grow in tropical and warm climate. There are about 5 to 12 types worldwide. The crushed seeds are used for making soap. In Indonesia it is called "Klerek"

It can be reused many times by placing few nuts in a cotton bag with a load of wash.

The soap nuts are also used in Unani and Tibetan indigenous systems and medical old century. Soap nuts are used as in shampoos and cleaners also Ayuvedic medicine for eczema and psoriasis. What is the best solution for cleaning soap scum?

Oh, oh! I know! Cheap shampoo works so great (or shampoo you bought do not like hair). I put one of those dish washing doohickies has a handle filled with dish soap and has a sponge at the tip. I have mine with a scrubber sponge that says "not zero". (Here is a picture of one - you can get at the dollar store.) Whenever I clean bathroom and a small section of my shower always looks great. I use it on my glass shower door too. This is by far the best tip ever found.
