How To Make Pure Castile Soap

A True Path Requires a Pure Soap

Is Dr. Bronner's Shampoo bad for Dreads?

I'm starting the dreading process with my hair and was recommended Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Soap. I could only find almond, and upon my research I found that the shampoo for dreads must be scent-free. So I was wondering if anyone has had any good experience with the soap.

Honestly, I am not sure about Dr. Bronner's. But I wore locks for 3 years and found that two of the best products to use were carol's daughter and hairobics. In that short time, my locks grew past my shoulders. But there are other less expensive ones. Just make sure that what ever you use is very moisturizing. And be sure you rinse your locks thoroughly. You don't want any build up. I used to do one purifying shampoo followed by a moisturizing shampoo. I don't know about having to use scent free shampoos. I never had a problem with scents. My hair always smelled nice and stayed shiny because I kept it clean, never went to bed with wet hair and twisted with oils. Hope this helps.
