There are different soap making processes that enable multiple products easily make homemade soap. The first method of making soap is the process soap Cold-making. I have been asked some different handmade soaps and bath water leaving a light blue even though the soap is not the light blue color.

Some handmade soaps have extra fat that is not chemically "tied up" with other ingredients (especially those who preach as moisturizers) and is a chemical bond with the harsh elements of water, ie. calcium magnesuim, etc, to form "soap scum".
