Hand Milled Soap Recipe
There was a time in history when almost everyone designed their own soap. The Earth is coming full circle and once again soap making has made itself a welcomed and rewarding past time. But some things have changed in the last 300 years of soap making.
On the one hand, you can custom tailor soaps specific beauty needs while adding herbal elements to make the final product more therapy. Moreover, milling soaps do not take all day or even months, as it was for our ancestors. Now you can combine the healing and beautifying the powers of soap in a clarification of organic skin with just a few minutes of work. Here's how:
Short-milled soap cut
A significant time savings in the world of soap making is using prefabricated, all natural soap bars. The Soap making from scratch can cause problems and greasy. You can save, and the cuisine, like buying organic disorder, a creamy soap health or local drug store.
Ingredients
- 1 bar of organic soap (from 3.5 to 4-ounce bar)
- 1 orange, navel
- 2 tablespoons safflower oil or almond
- 4 tablespoons filtered water
- 2 drops of essential oil of citronella
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Utensils
- Spoon
- Large microwave-safe bowl
- Plastic wrap
- Freezer safe cup and flexible plastic
- Cheese Grater
- Paper towels
Create a skin lightening soap
Preparation work
Shredding
Shred the soap in a container of cheese grater. Then, in the same container, with the cheese grater, shred the orange peel. Grate the orange until you reach the yellow target area of your skin.
Soap molds
To prepare the molds, bathroom with a paper towel in vegetable oil and coat the cup with the oiled towel.
Melting Soap
In the bowl used above, for soap and grated orange peel, add water and safflower (or almond) oil.
Cover pan with plastic wrap and place in microwave on high for 30-45 seconds. (Note: See the soap when it melts, it could bubble over in the microwave.) If the soap has not finished melting after 45 seconds, place in microwave for 30 seconds.
Mixture soap
Once the soap has melted, remove from microwave and remove plastic wrap.
Add the cinnamon and essential oils citronella to the melted soap and stir the mixture with a spoon from one to two minutes.
Soap Molding
Option 1: Mold Cup
After you have mixed the soap is poured into the cup. Use the spoon to pack the soap and remove large air bubbles size.
Option 2: Hand-molded
Alternatively, you can simply pull the soap with your hands and mold the soap into balls or hamburgers.
Hardening of the telenovela
Now the top of the plastic cup of warm soap to save from odors the freezer can. If you made soap patties, wrap in plastic only.
Put the soap in the freezer for 1-2 hours to be harden, then remove the bars. Once the soap is hard, take it out of the cup. You can cut crown molding soap into smaller pieces with a knife.
You can store the soap in wax paper or plastic wrap.
The results
That soap set at room temperature for one day before use. Then, enjoy cleaning your skin with a unique, organic skin lightening soap. The elements of the shell orange and safflower oil help promote skin glow effects of this soap.
Does anyone have an easy recipe to make soap by hand mill process?
Also, what do you use to color the soap, giving aroma and molding without incurring huge expenses? I found an excellent website for those responsible soup, however, none of their products seem to be affordable. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make soap in a less costly, while a keepint level of good taste?
To make hand milled soap, you have to do very mild soap that, as usual, to easily mill. You can choose your favorite recipe CP soap, however, needs more water to make soap softer. Just prepare 10-25% of additional water to the solution bleach. That's it! If you use olive oil 100%, you may not need extra water, but just in case, add 5-10% extra water in the bleach solution. Please make lye soap as usual and cure the soap for several days and then the soap factory, as the photo below using degree of cheese or something. If soap is too soft to mill, then you can let a few more days. After preparing the soap, just like cookie dough kneading, and add some flavorings and colors in order to gorgeous flowers or animals. To make herbal soap, just put your favorite Harbs soap, if you want to make soap clay, clay add your favorites!
