blonde shampoo will do something to bring out highlights in dark hair?

I bought the John Freida shampoo and hair conditioner, but now am second guessing that will do nothing at all to carry out my notes apparently does not exist. Right?

These shampoos claim to "grab" the color of his hair, but all they really contain is Pearl Extract, which is a substance bright in the shampoo that looks a little brighter. It does not work as hair dyes, which only makes your hair shine in the light.
