How to start working on the soap?

I would like to make soaps for gifts and my personal use only. I have been researching, but I'm still confused as to why or how to begin. My skin sensitive and do my children. I tried several "soft" soaps, but just do not work, but I have tried a goat milk soap from homemade I loved it and I helped my skin. Anyway I'd like some tips to make goat milk soap. Thanks in advance!

Google just soap done at home or go to you tube this would help a lot.

How can I get more foam goat milk soap in my home? What can I add in my soap making process?

I have heard of sugar .... did not work .... then I hear a bit of hand soap, but do not seem to do the trick. Also I tried to add a little glycerin based on my .... and the bar still does not slide smoothly or foam in the shower. any suggestions?

I use the following relation base oil for my bar of soap foam base and get a very light and fluffy that I love. Coconut - 30% of Palm - 30% Oil - 40% I also add a 1 / 2 tsp. powdered sugar per pound of base oils when I come to trace.
