Chocolate Soap

Making chocolate is challenging. To help you along the way, here are some tips you should know.

First, water is the enemy chocolate, so be sure that the two do not come in contact with each other otherwise the chocolate will become grainy.

If you are using white chocolate and want to add color to never use regular food color or paste food color as this also contains water. You should only use powdered or gel varieties.

When adding color to chocolate, add this in small quantities and stir before adding more. This is due to start could change the color of chocolate making it too bright. If this occurs, this can be remedied by diluting the shade, with a little more white chocolate.

Apart from the varieties in powder or gel color, you can also use brushes to paint designs on your cast. Another option is to paddle clubs or even toothpicks so you will have a better control over product development.

When you are finished using the chocolate mold, never wash with soap like this which eliminates its stickiness. Just use water and after rinsing, dry this properly to prevent mold and mildew will also make more difficult to release the chocolate from the mold. But if it is difficult to remove, the next time you use the mold, apply a light coat of vegetable oil as this always does the trick.

Should there be some chocolate on the edges of the mold, remove it with a butter knife. Remember that this can be reused by simply melting again and then pour it to the next round of what they are doing.

If the melted chocolate is too thick to paint, add some parafinflakes to get the mix right. If you do not have this, you can also use vegetable shortening or cocoa butter.

When chocolate is melted and poured into the mold immediately placed in the freezer for several minutes. To remove, simply has to turn this into more than one tray. Please leave alone, you can tap gently and pour a bit of hot water in the back.

Some people paint the chocolate after being removed from the freezer. To do this, you must hold the mold on the head so that you can see from the right side. If air bubbles, tap the area where you are using your fingers, until it appears.
