This is a special blend of soy beans with other botanical oils and it makes up this 100% natural soot-free wax. Soy wax is an excellent alternative to paraffin wax since the melting point of this wax is 135 degrees and the melting point of the pillar/votive blend is 140 degrees. Each box features full color project ideas on the top of the lid and complete instructions on the inside. This wax may be enhanced with any Yaley candle scents or dyes. No special wicks needed - sizes and types vary with the project as explained in the instructions. This blend of soy wax is not recommended for molded candles. Description

Zinc core wicking is used in many applications such as tea-lights, votives and container candles. Zinc burns the coolest of all the cored wicks and offers the most rigidity. These wicks are constructed by using 100% natural fibers in the cover with the zinc core. Zinc cored wicks are most effective in paraffin based waxes and VersaGel, they are not recommended for use in natural/renewable waxes.

This wax was developed for container type candles. A well will not form when pouring in most containers however some odd sized containers will require a second pour to fill the well. Melt wax to a temperature of 160 - 170 degrees. Do not pour into metal molds. The wax enhances the fragrance and burning quailty of a candle. May be enhanced with any Yaley scent and/or dye.
