If you've made a basic salt bath, but you want to produce a more professional, you'll love these simple techniques. They will make your bath salts less "homebrew" Spa and more quality. Once you begin your application, you will feel more secure to give your handmade bath salts as gifts or presentation for sale in a shop or craft fair.
All of these techniques are only turns or extensions of what we already know. Not take them more time together bath salts base.
1) The "secret" ingredient - dendritic salt.
If you leave wet bath salts or oils, which ugly cake pieces, or they lose their flavor very quickly, you should use dendritic salt. It is basically a fine-grain salt, but has twice the power of oil and moisture absorption. Just mix your fragrance, oils, moisturizers, and color of fluid in the dendritic salt first, then mix the dendritic of salt in your bath salt in bulk.
Usage: Start with 1 part to 5 parts salt, dendritic salt in bulk. Do not be afraid to use more if needed to maintain its dry bath salts, sodium chloride is simply old.
2) powder, concentrated dye instead of food coloring.
Most people begins to color your bath salts on the strength of consumer-FD & C dye, which is food coloring. For a wide range of colors, like a lavender well, and salts Bathing more alive than the color of the bath water, you should use the powdered dye in place. Powder dye dye can be as FD & C, or mica. Use either type, but make sure it is water soluble.
Use: Disperse 1 / 4 teaspoon of dye powder in water 1 oz dropper or spray bottle. Dendritic salt mixture in first or spray a fine mist directly into your bath salt blend.
3) Make effervescent bath salts.
Effervescent bath salts are easy to make and add something special to experience. If you made before bath bombs, the ingredients are the same. Make a "dust Fizz 2 parts baking soda to 1 part citric acid, and incorporate it into your bath salts. The bath salts will have a touch of powder, but flow better and stay drier as a result.
Use: I recommend 1 / 4 cup of "Fizz powder" in each serving of bath salts.
4) Use the best bulk salt from the Dead Sea.
Dead Sea Salt is salt thicker, better than the Atlantic sea salt or Epsom salt. Why is this? Because Dead Sea salt has a mineral profile incredible, far more than the other two. Dead Sea salt has been subjected to numerous health studies that have shown that for help with eczema, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and more. It is more expensive than the Atlantic sea salt or Epsom salt, but the therapeutic benefit worth the cost. Use essential oils in combination with Dead Sea salt for the benefits of aromatherapy as well!
Use: 1 / 2 to 2 cups per bath for maximum effect.
5) Get the most out of your mineral bath.
Did you know that if you run the bath water too hot, you will not get any of the minerals? Although the heat can be a relief, the temperatures are too high will close the pores, preventing the absorption of minerals. Also, hot baths will make you sweat, like a sauna, and you may feel tired or weak from dehydration.
Use: Bath temperature Ideally temperate to warm, not hot enough to feel the urge to pull his foot out of water when you test.
