Yes, they can survive in the soap. but some soaps contain antibacterial ingredients and less anti-fungal ingredients. Furthermore, oxygen (open air) will kill many types of bacteria and viruses - as well as the soap is dry, many will die. that does not mean that some still survive and not to mutuate come for you.
