Soap Making Kits

One of the coolest trends that I see coming is soap making kits. A long time ago when I was a child at summer camp, we made soap by hand to take home to our mothers. I thought it was neat back then but never thought it would become a popular hobby of so many.
Soap making kits make a lot of sense for a number of different reasons. The biggest reason for me is that I can know exactly what ingredients are, and more importantly aren’t in something that I run all over my body. With all of the harsh chemicals that are making their way into body care products, I take comfort in knowing that my home made soap is all natural and good for my skin. Coming in a close second is the cost. I really like my skin to feel amazing, and that used to come at a cost. I used to spend up to $20 just on a bar of skin moisturizing soap from a specialty shop. I tried cheaper soaps but they dried out my skin. Now, with my soap making, I get soap bars with all the moisturizers and emollients of the expensive designers soaps at a fraction of the cost.
If you have never bought a soap making kit before, I encourage you to try. Whether you want to make natural and chemical free soaps for you and your family, give them as gifts, or start a business selling them, soap making is easy, fun and rewarding.
